About FB Fabrications

FB Fabrications were formed in February 2002 by Clive Ford and Robert Blakely.

Clive and Robert have over 60 years experience between them in fabrication and welding, gained from working in the marine and engineering industries.

Clive had previously worked for JMA Propulsion, Brittania Warfe Boatyard, Thetis Engineering, FBM Marine, and served his apprenticeship at Elliot Turbomachinery Ltd in Cowes.

Robert had previously worked for JMA Propulsion, Souter Marine, FBM Marine and Scott Lithgow.

Clive and Robert are very much hands on, and work along side their employees on the shop floor ensuring that their standards of practice and quality are adhered to.

They have built a reputation for quality workmanship, and ability to meet delivery schedules, and are accredited to ISO 9001;2008.

Quality Standards

FB Fabrications are approved to ISO 9001. Our welding qualifications range from ISO, Lloyds, and DNV approvals in mild steel, stainless steels and Aluminium, working to the approved procedures required for various welding applications.

We also offer full NDT weld inspection services with full certification to meet customer's requirements. All contracts undertaken can be supplied with full trace ability and metal certifications.

All our products are subject to quality control procedures across every stage of the manufacturing process to final despatch and delivery.
